A dental crown is a tooth-shaped and tooth-colored “cap” that is placed in order to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance. The crowns are getting cemented into place and not removable. Advised when a big part of the tooth is missing in case of trauma or decay and after root canal treatment, also may be done for cosmetic and bite correction purposes.
